I’m a professional counsellor, writer, and student organizer, and an amateur musician, poet, and liturgy nerd. I make my home in Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood, where I participate in the work of the Jeremiah Community, an intentional community within the Anglican tradition. Over the years I have been nurtured and challenged by several faith communities, studies in psychology, religion, and literature, community outreach work, and some wonderful teachers and fellow travellers. My writing is essentially an endeavour to reconcile the reality of suffering with the reality of divine love. I find peace and joy in contemplative prayer, music, nature, and friendship.
